Abundance is a daily habit. A practice.
Among other things, abundance is about accepting yourself. Having meaningful experiences. Making time for the people and things you enjoy. Savoring small delights. Being present in the moment. Feeling like your life matters and that you have things to offer others.
My business, Abundant Life Practice, is all about helping you make the most of the life you have at this very moment by developing the habits of abundance. I help you discover the techniques to abundant living through high-impact self development retreats and online programming.
But even if we never work together, this is what I want you to know:
You do not need permission to feel good about yourself. You do not need to reach some arbitrary goal or milestone for validation. Life is short and you are powerful. Do not let it pass you by. Life is happening now.
Live! Live! Live!
There was a time in which I was constantly pursuing the “next big thing” for permission to feel good about myself and my life. I would say, “after I get this degree,” “after I lose 2o pounds,” or “after I start my business.” But I quickly realized that external validation is fleeting and left me feeling empty. It’s like a drug, which leaves you looking for your next hit as soon as it’s over. I would reach the target and immediately plan the next big thing to focus on because I did not think “just being” was enough. I was missing my life. Check out my Self-Love Manifesto:
I decided that I would not let one more year pass with me putting my life on hold. I would do the things I wanted to do, but hadn’t out of fear and insecurity. In short, I gave myself permission to just be me and I have not looked back. It’s made a world of difference.
I discovered that a meaningful abundant life comes from within and we each define what that means for ourselves.
This is my central message that guides all the work I do.
Here’s a little about me:
Abundant Life Practice started when I rented the cutest little office space on the first floor of a 2-flat building on the south side of Chicago. In this space, I worked with over a hundred women, children, men, couples, and families in the span of 2 years. It was amazing and I did good work here.
But after my mom passed unexpectedly, I realized that I only get one life and I wanted to do more with mine. I also realized that I wanted more freedom to do the things that made me happy. I decided to close my physical office and do work online so that I could reach more people, be free to travel, and spend time with my family.
I love to travel. Honestly, it’s a bit of an obsession. The world is so big and there is always some place to go! My goal is to visit six of the 7 continents (no interest in Antarctica!). I’ve already been to Africa, Asia, Europe, and North America so I only have 2 more continents to go (South America and Australia, I’m looking at you!).
I have a HUGE family and I love them dearly. My mother was one of 11 siblings, so I have tons of aunts and cousins. It’s kind of amazing and I’m really thankful. Also, my brother and I look like twins which I think is really funny.
I love to be in nature. I’m especially partial to Autumn. It’s such a calm time of the year and it’s unbelievably gorgeous.
